Max and Trevor. Engaged. Puddledock Gathering Post, Maine.

January 6, 2019

Well, we are a week into 2019 and I am determined to stick to my resolution. Get my work out there. I work with hundreds of amazing clients every year and every year I promise myself I will post more on social media and blog more. Every year I get “too busy” and I only share little snippets of some of the beautiful photos I am fortunate enough to capture. My website is a little outdated but I am going to be gentle with myself and get that updated in the next few weeks as my slow season begins. My first step is getting the blog up and rolling again. So here’s my first post. Hold me accountable people, there’s too much pretty stuff to keep to myself.

Max and Trevor. Engaged

Years ago, when my business was just a year or two old, I held a contest on Facebook where people could nominate their favorite high school sweetheart couple to win a photoshoot with me. Trevor and Max, who were just babies at the time were my winners. They have since shed braces, gotten taller, made some MAJOR academic achievements, completed degrees, become fur-parents… but they are still just as goofy and in love as when I photographed them as teenagers. These two have such an easy going relationship and a natural connection that comes through in photos.  I photographed Max’s sisters’ engagements, one wedding, and family portraits… so they kind of already feel like family. Max’s sister, her husband and their parents are opening a new venue in Central Maine that made for the dreamiest location during their snowy Maine shoot. Max and Trevor’s wedding will be the first there and I can’t wait to watch it’s transformation this summer. It’s going to be amazing and I am so thankful to be a part of it. And you can’t forget Lucy! Their adorable fur-baby! She was kind of the star. 😉
